Breadfruit is one type of versatile plant that is of economic value because itproduces fruit with a fairly high nutritional content. Breadfruit plants havediverse morphological variations, so their morphological variations can be usedas a way to determine a type of breadfruit, especially whether the quality issuperior or not. This study aims to determine the morphological variations ofbreadfruit plants (Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Forsberg) originating fromvillages in Bekasi City. The stages of this study include observation andobservation of morphological characters ranging from trees, leaves, flowers andfruits. Breadfruit plants in Bekasi city have an average height of ±11.5 m, withthe highest breadfruit plants reaching 12.90 m and the lowest 7.9 m, the largestbreadfruit stem circumference is 125 cm and the smallest is 98.5 cm, thelargest breadfruit canopy diameter is 4.67 m and the smallest is 6.14 m, theshape of the canopy of the Breadfruit plant in Bekasi city is irregular, pyramidsand pyramids are broad, the leaves of the Breadfruit plant in Bekasi city, ingeneral, have the same shape, namely dark green, rhombus-shaped withpinnate leaf bones, tapered leaf tips and leaf edges are enamelled, the maleflowers of Breadfruit are in the form of a whole with a diameter of up to 5 cmand a length of 45 cm consisting of many individual flowers, tubular flowerscontaining a single stamen with two anthers on thick filaments, male and femaleflowers on breadfruit plants are separated in the same plant, the morphology ofbreadfruit in the city of Bekasi has the characteristics of a rounded shape, thesurface of the skin of the fruit is prickly, if palpable it feels rough, as well aswhite fruit flesh.
Indonesia dianugerahi keanekaragaman hayati yang melimpah, salah satunya tanaman obat. Andong merah merupakan salah satu tanaman obat yang banyak digunakan masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian eksperimental laboratorium ini yang bertujuan untuk menentukan aktivitas ekstrak daun andong merah terhapap kadar kolesterol, Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL), dan High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) pada mencit hiperkolesterol. Penelitian menggunakan 4 kelompok hewan uji, yaitu: kelompok I hewan uji normal (tidak hiperkolesterol) dengan pakan standar, kelompok II hewan uji hiperkolesterol dengan pakan standar dan pakan tinggi lemak (PTL), kelompok III hewan uji hiperkolesterol yang diberi pakan standar, PTL, dan ekstrak daun andong merah (EDAM) 200 mg/kg BB, dan kelompok IV hewan uji hiperkolesterol yang diberi pakan standar, PTL, dan ekstrak daun andong merah (EDAM) 300 mg/kg BB. Induksi hiperkolesterol menggunakan pakan tinggi lemak yang terbuat dari kuning telur puyuh. Parameter penelitian berupa kadar kolesterol, HDL, dan LDL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EDAM menurunkan kadar kolesterol dan LDL, serta meningkatkan HDL.
Vitamin C is an unstable in storage. The stability of vitamin C is influenced by many factors such as temperature, pH, sunlight and the presence of heavy metals such as iron and copper. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in vitamin C levels in tablets based on storage areas with different lighting conditions at a pharmacy in Madiun. In this study, samples of vitamin C tablets were stored on the front shelf facing the entrance of the pharmacy which was exposed to indirect sunlight, the upper shelf which was exposed to the light, and the lower shelf which was protected from the light and sunlight, and. Storage was carried out for one month. Determination of vitamin C levels in tablet was determined using Spectrophotometry UV-Vis method, then the results were statistically analyzed using One Way Anova. The results showed that the levels of vitamin C in the tablets on the front shelf, upper shelf, and lower shelf were 95,56%, 97,67%, and 98,95% respectively. The results exhibit the lowest level of vitamin C was found on front storage, nonetheless there was no significantly difference levels from all storage location.

Rekayasa kedua berupa pengendalian biotik yang bersifat merugikan (hama) dan rekayasa ketiga berupa penghilangan proses ekosistem tanah (pertanian tanpa tanah) yaitu sistem hidroponik.
