Statement of the problem. This article formulates and analyzes the problem of creating organizational and pedagogical conditions for development of professional skills among vocational education teachers via informationally rich educational environment created in a technical school. The purpose of the article is to experimentally prove that specially organized pedagogical activity of teachers in the field of vocational education develops their professional skills in the informationally rich educational environment. Methodology (materials and methods). The concepts of personally oriented and cultural approaches [Rogova 2016] made up the research methodology in terms of its logic and the processes being examined. They also gave an opportunity to determine the components and direction of vocational training and self-improvement among teachers in the field of vocational education. The concepts of continuous pedagogical education [Livingstone, 2001] served as the ground for revealing the potential of informationally rich educational environment and ways of its realization as a factor of professional skills development. Conclusion. Organizational and pedagogical conditions for realization of informationally rich educational environment potential and improvement of teachers’ professional skills have found practical use and have been tested in the natural environment of the secondary vocational education system. The main output of our work is mathematically confirmed effectiveness of these organizational and pedagogical conditions for development of professional skills among modern teachers of vocational education.
The scientific article substantiates the introduction of the term «glyphotherapy» in order to further use it as a designation of a new method of prevention, correction and rehabilitation of the contingent, both without developmental peculiarities and with a violation of mental development of various genesis: mental retardation, autism spectrum disorders, etc., introduction into pedagogical, psychological, psychotherapeutic practice. The term «glyphotherapy» is based on the etymology of the concept’s «glyph» and «therapy», from various fields of ancient and modern historical and cultural knowledge; he is given a psychological and pedagogical justification. As a result, a new method «Glyphotherapy» was substantiated as a set of techniques that allow through the interactive use of historical, cultural and socio-psychological potential (resource) of glyphs (hieroglyphs) of Oriental languages, as an energy-informational matrix of the universe, to perform psychological and pedagogical support: prevention, correction and rehabilitation of children and adolescents using health-preserving psychological and pedagogical technologies. The basis of the new method «glyphotherapy» in the psychotherapeutic and pedagogical process consists of universal meanings, images-ideas contained in ideographic signs of written Oriental languages — Japanese and Chinese, glyphs (hieroglyphs) and their components — traits, radicals, ideograms, pictograms, which can later be used by specialists in professional activities as a health-preserving and health-enriching technology in psychological and pedagogical support for children and adolescents, including those with disabilities of various genesis.
The COVID-19 pandemic has grown a worldwide health concern and has imposed a significant impact on education. As a result, halfway through the second semester of 2019/2020, learning methods were delivered through distance learning (DL). The purpose of the paper is to study the specifics of online education during the Covid-19 pandemic. A comprehensive diagnostic study of the psychological characteristics of students included the following methods: the test of life-meaning orientations (LMO), adapted by D.A. Leontiev (2006), diagnostics of the motivational structure of personality. Based on the results of the conducted empirical research, duration of study influenced student preference. Plus, Higher number of first-year students preferred DL compared to their seniors. Notwithstanding some challenges, students could adjust to the new education methods of full DL, and the majority recognized combined learning that combined classroom and distance learning can be performed subsequently. The COVID-19 pandemic transforms the application of technology in education and teaching approaches in the near future.
