In this article, we disclosed a method for the regiodivergent and stereoselective hydrosilylation of isoprene using earth-abundant cobalt catalyst via variation of ligands. With a less sterically hindered bidentate ligand,...
The recent surge in the applications of deuterated drug candidates has rendered an urgent need for diverse deuterium labeling techniques. Herein, an efficient Rh-catalyzed deuterated Tsuji−Wilkinson decarbonylation of naturally available aldehydes with D 2 O is developed. In this reaction, D 2 O not only acts as a deuterated reagent and solvent but also promotes Rh-catalyzed decarbonylation. In addition, decarbonylative strategies for the synthesis of terminal monodeuterated alkenes from α,β-unsaturated aldehydes are within reach.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
