Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the structural relationships among skepticism, experiential risk, cognitive dissonance, experiential quality, brand experience and experiential satisfaction, switching intentions and switching behavior from the perspective of green branding. Design/methodology/approach A questionnaire survey was used to collect data from consumers who had purchased environmental shampoos, obtaining 613 valid samples which were analyzed with structural equation modeling. Findings The results indicate that green brand experiential risk, green brand cognitive dissonance, green brand experiential quality and green brand experience influence green brand experiential satisfaction. In addition, green brand experiential satisfaction has an impact on green brand switching intentions, which, in turn, positively influence green brand switching behavior. Practical implications To decrease the perceptions of green brand skepticism, green brand experiential risk, green brand cognitive dissonance, green brand switching intentions and green brand switching behavior and increase the perceptions of green brand experiential quality, green brand experience and green brand experiential satisfaction, the findings will help environmental organizations develop and implement market-orientated product strategies. Originality/value The results provide a better understanding of the relationships among skepticism, experiential risk, cognitive dissonance, experiential quality, brand experience, experiential satisfaction, switching intentions and switching behavior in an environmental context.
PurposeAs Chinese Generation Z consumers have distrust over traditional advertising and marketing, this study focuses on user-generated content (UGC) travel apps to demonstrate the structural relationship among the expertise of amateur information publisher, interactive atmosphere, information quality, expectation confirmation, perceived trust, experiential satisfaction and switching intention.Design/methodology/approachThis study carried out a questionnaire-based survey among Chinese Generation Z consumers and obtained 356 valid questionnaire copies that were analyzed with the structural equation.FindingsThe expertise of amateur information publisher and the interactive atmosphere of UGC travel apps have positive effects on perceived trust; expectation confirmation and perceived trust have positive effects on experiential satisfaction, and experiential satisfaction has negative effects on switching intention.Practical implicationsThe results should encourage UGC travel app developers to use visual effects so as to achieve a higher quality of information, foster a cordial interactive atmosphere and enhance the expertise of information publishers by selecting the best candidate, thus spurring the design of marketing activities popular among the Chinese Generation Z consumers.Originality/valueThis study argues that new-generation consumers have their specific appeals and in the tourist market. It explores the UGC travel apps, which are popular among Generation Z consumers in order to deepen marketing personnel's understanding of the relationship among the expertise of amateur information publisher, interactive atmosphere, information quality, expectation confirmation, perceived trust, experiential satisfaction and switching intention.
Prior studies about task performance within the high-tech industry have focused mainly on the relationship among working stress, working characteristics, employee motivation, and the compensation system. This study, however, examines whether employee personality, organizational culture, and different leadership styles have an impact on organizational commitment and hence increase the employee’s task performance. To study this issue, 304 employees from high-tech public companies in Taiwan were selected as illustrative example, and LISREL software was used as the analytic tool. The research findings indicate that high-tech companies whose employees exhibit personality characteristics such as competition and high ambition (typically “Type A”) have a positive effect on organizational commitment. Second, high-tech companies exhibiting an innovative and supportive culture also have significant impact on organizational commitment. Third, employees with more value commitment and effort commitment show increased task performance. In addition, organizational commitment acted as an intermediary role between employee personality characteristics, organizational culture, and task performance; that is, employee personality characteristics and organizational culture indirectly influenced task performance through organizational commitment
Gen Z students are very different compared to the previous generations' students. The traditional teaching methods can no longer meet their learning needs instead by learning through the Internet. Therefore, teachers must use the Internet to create an environment suitable for their learning. The blended teaching method is a new model that can meet the learning needs of Gen Z. This study aims to explore how the four dimensions of psychological empowerment can be used in a blended learning environment to improve students' creativity, learning satisfaction, and learning performance. The study collected 356 valid questionnaires, the proposed conceptual model was validated using the structural equation model. The reliability of this study is greater than 0.7, and the validity is tested by CR and AVE, which meet the requirements of scholars. The results show that in the four dimensions of psychological empowerment. Firstly, enhancing students' learning competence, and understanding the meaning and impact of learning can help improve students' satisfaction. Secondly, enhancing students' learning competence, learning selfdetermination, and learning impact has a positive impact on students' creativity. Thirdly, when students have higher learning competence and impact, it helps to improve students learning performance. Fourthly, when students are more creative and have learning satisfaction with the course, they can improve their learning performance.
