At home, there are all kinds of electrical devices. Also the gas may leak to fire. Once the danger happens, it will result in the huge losses. The smart home system is necessary for the safety. The system integrated the sensors to monitor the appliances whether they work normally. Once the exceptions have been tested, the owner can get the text massage immediately with the help of GSM. This system has a light cube. It has 512 lights. After test, this system works to monitor the home appliances very well at the low cost.

Although research examining loneliness and social anxiety has been conducted, few studies have explored pathways from loneliness at home to social anxiety at school in Chinese left-behind children. The study attempts to explore associations between loneliness at home and social anxiety at school and to examine roles of self-esteem in those relationships among a sample of Chinese left-behind children. Date were collected from 303 left-behind children, aged 10–14 years, and the Chinese versions of Children’s Loneliness Scale, Social Anxiety Scale, and Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale were used to measure loneliness at home, social anxiety at school, and self-esteem, respectively. Results showed that loneliness at home was positively associated with social anxiety at school; self-esteem played a partial mediation role in associations between loneliness at home and social anxiety at school. Findings suggest that high levels of self-esteem may influence pathways from loneliness at home to social anxiety at school in Chinese left-behind children, and increasing levels of self-esteem may be used in preventions for loneliness of Chinese left-behind children.

In recent years, more and more elderly are living lonely. The project has achieved for them or children to control the robot in the intelligent phones by the Bluetooth serial. It has finished the software about commanding the robot in the intelligent phones based on the android frame. The ultimate function is to realize the smart phone to control the robot via Bluetooth to do a series of actions, such as walking forward and backward, turning left and right, playing soccer, squatting and standing up and according to the corresponding rhythm. The project realizes the handheld control design of controlling applications based on Android system. Its core is setting the serial mode of Bluetooth on the Android terminal, and sending the instructions. This will greatly facilitate applications of the robot in the field of the smart home.
