It gives definite physical signs, whlicll may simulate pneeumlionia or pleural effusion. 6. The differential diagnosis depends on determiniing the position of the apex beat and the diaphragm. 7. It may, in cases of injury, affect the lung on the side remote fromii the trauma. 8.
