A facile hydrothermal procedure was adopted to prepare TiO 2 nanosheet array film on Ti foil, with NaCl as a morphology control agent. SEM, EDS, XPS and XRD showed that the TiO 2 nanosheets with uniform morphology were vertically grown on the surface of Ti foil, and the nanosheets were interlaced with each other. When the hydrothermal reaction was controlled at 140°C for 6 h, TiO 2 nanosheet array film with superhydrophilicity (water contact angle of 3°) was obtained. In addition, excellent flexibility of Ti foil with TiO 2 nanosheet array films could be a promising material for flexible application.
Highly exposed {001} surfaces of ITD-TiO2 and IDT-TiO2 microspheres with self-assembled hierarchical structure has been prepared by intermittent two-step hydrothermal method. ITD-TiO2 has a polycrystalline structure, and the particle size...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
