Fault diagnosis of rope tension is significantly important for hoisting safety, especially in mine hoists. Conventional diagnosis methods based on force sensors face some challenges regarding sensor installation, data transmission, safety, and reliability in harsh mine environments. In this paper, a novel fault diagnosis method for rope tension based on the vibration signals of head sheaves is proposed. First, the vibration signal is decomposed into some intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) by the ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) method. Second, a sensitivity index is proposed to extract the main IMFs, then the de-noised signal is obtained by the sum of the main IMFs. Third, the energy and the proposed improved permutation entropy (IPE) values of the main IMFs and the de-noised signal are calculated to create the feature vectors. The IPE is proposed to improve the PE by adding the amplitude information, and it proved to be more sensitive in simulations of impulse detecting and signal segmentation. Fourth, vibration samples in different tension states are used to train a particle swarm optimization–support vector machine (PSO-SVM) model. Lastly, the trained model is implemented to detect tension faults in practice. Two experimental results validated the effectiveness of the proposed method to detect tension faults, such as overload, underload, and imbalance, in both single-rope and multi-rope hoists. This study provides a new perspective for detecting tension faults in hoisting systems.
Polymorphism of the second exon of the caprine leukocyte antigen-DRB3 gene (CLA-DRB3*02) was investigated in this study. The 285 bp PCR product of 258 individuals from 10 domestic goat breeds in Southwest China was digested with restriction endonucleases PstI and HaeIII and then genotyped. Three alleles and 4 restriction digestion profiles were distinguished by digestion of the PCR fragment by PstI, and 8 alleles and 13 genotypes by HaeIII. For HaeIII restriction enzyme sites, the Chi-square (X 2 ) test showed that all goat breeds in this study did not fit with the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (p<0.01 or p<0.05). The highly polymorphic nature of CLA-DRB3*02 was demonstrated and the ranges of gene heterozygosity (He) and polymorphism information content (PIC) were 0.36-0.63 and 0.32-0.55, respectively. Clustering analysis showed that the 10 goat breeds clustered into two groups and Dazu Black goat had a close genetic relationship with Chengdu Grey, Jintang Black and Nanjiang Yellow goats.
The soil pollution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) is serious in China, which not only affects the living and growing environment of plants and animals but also has a great impact on people’s health. The use of hydrophobic organic compounds to make use of surfactant ectopic elution processing is more convenient and cheaper as a repair scheme and can effectively wash out the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the soil. Therefore, we mixed sophorolipids:sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS):Na2SiO3 according to the mass ratio of 1:15:150. We explored the influencing factors of high and low concentrations of PAH-contaminated soil using a single factor test and four factors at a two-level factorial design. Then, the elution wastewater was treated by ultrasonic oxidation technology and the alkali-activated sodium persulfate technology. The results showed that: (1) In the single factor test, when the elution time is 8 h, the concentration of the compounded surfactant is 1200 mg/L, the particle size is 60 mesh, the concentration of NaCl is 100 mmol/L, and the concentration of KCl is 50 mmol/L, and the effect of the PAH-contaminated soil eluted by the composite surfactant is the best. Externally added NaCl and KCl salt ions have a more obvious promotion effect on the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon-contaminated soil; (2) in the interaction experiment, single factor B (elution time) and D (NaCl concentration) have a significant main effect. There is also a certain interaction between factor A (concentration agent concentration) and factor D, factor B, and factor C (KCl concentration); (3) the treatment of anthracene in the eluate by ultrasonic completely mineralizes the organic pollutants by the thermal and chemical effects produced by the ultrasonic cavitation phenomenon, so that the organic pollutants in the eluate are oxidized and degraded into simple environmentally friendly small molecular substances. When the optimal ultrasonic time is 60 min and the ratio of oxidant to activator is 1:2, the removal rate of contaminants in the eluent can reach 63.7%. At the same time, the turbidity of the eluent is significantly lower than that of the liquid after centrifugal separation, indicating that oxidants can not only remove the pollutants in elution water but also remove the residual soil particulate matter; and (4) by comparing the infrared spectrum of the eluted waste liquid before and after oxidation, it can be seen that during the oxidation process, the inner part of eluent waste liquid underwent a ring-opening reaction, and the ring-opening reaction also occurred in the part of the cyclic ester group of the surfactant, which changed from a ring to non-ring.
As an influential statistical application, D-NetWeaver is very popular for the time course biological data analysis. However, it is inconvenient for the users of D-NetWeaver to import the dataset and export the results to various data sources. For this, the study employs Semantic Web technologies to develop data repository for D-NetWeaver, which can conveniently manage the unstructured meta-data from various data sources with four major features: Bio-Graph generation, Semantic extension of the original file system, Bio-Graph visualization, and SPARQL query for databases. This semantic technology based data repository not only facilitates interoperability across various databases, but also exhibits its potential to explore the reasoning from the data.
