Co nanowire arrays have been electrodeposited into self-assembled anodic aluminium oxide
templates. It is found that the crystal structure of the Co nanowires depends on the pH value
of the deposition electrolyte. The XRD results show that Co nanowires are fcc structure at
pH = 2.7, amixture of structures
of fcc and hcp at pH = 3.5,
and hcp structure at pH = 5.0. The effective anisotropy along the nanowire axis of the fcc Co nanowire array is obviously
stronger than that of the hcp Co nanowire array, and the coercivity of the fcc structure
is also larger than that of the hcp structure when they are the same diameter.
Objective There are limited studies examining knowledge and attitudes among Chinese oncology nurses regarding cancer pain management. Methods We conducted a cross-sectional survey among oncology nurses from 26 hospitals in China. The nurses completed the Knowledge and Attitudes Survey Regarding Pain (KASRP) questionnaire. Multivariate models were used to identify factors associated with nurses’ KASRP score. Results A total of 982 nurses completed the KASRP (mean score = 21.56 ± 4.00), and 8 (0.81%) nurses had a passing score. The results of multivariate regression indicated that clinical rank and experience in cancer pain management were associated with good knowledge and attitudes regarding cancer pain management. Conclusion The Chinese nurses in our study did not have adequate knowledge of or positive attitudes related to cancer pain management. Clinical rank and experience caring for patients with cancer could be used to help identify nurses with inadequate knowledge and attitudes regarding treating cancer pain.
Magnetic moment orientations of α-Fe
nanowire arrays with two different diameters have been investigated by
means of transmission Mössbauer spectroscopy (MS) and conversion
electron Mössbauer spectroscopy (CEMS). From the intensity ratio
in the sextets of MS and CEMS, it is found that inside the α-Fe
nanowire array (60 nm in diameter) the magnetic moments are well parallel to the
nanowires, but near the extremities of the nanowires the magnetic moment orientation
deviates from parallelism to the long axis of the wire. When the diameter of the α-Fe
nanowires increases (300 nm in diameter), CEM spectra indicate that the mean
angle of orientation between the moment direction and the long axis of the wire
becomes larger near the extremities of the nanowires. The calculated
configurations of magnetic moment orientations are consistent with the MS and
CEMS measurements.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
