Lighting is one of the most important components in planning a building. To do all the activities that exist in the room of a building then needed a sufficient intensity of lighting, so that it can be carried out with maximal especially related to work practices conducted in the laboratory for the purposes of teaching and learning process. Lighting in the room when viewed from the quality is a strong illumination or lighting level is required where for different types of activities will require different levels of illumination. The results of this study is based on the use of light intensity in the laboratory and workshop through a measurement of the intensity of room lighting using SNI 16-7062-2004 standard and calculate the electrical energy it uses. Measurement of landing intensity was measured using lux meter measuring instrument. Measurements are done at 09.00, 12.00 and 15.00. The room is in accordance with the standard of environmental health requirements of office and industrial work with an area of 118.80 m2 has a lighting intensity (E) of 183.82 lux. While the intensity of illumination (E) 20.85 - 85.44 lux is recommended for the addition of the number of points of light
Conventional power plants have made people's dependence on this form, without realizing that there is alternative energy or new renewable energy that is environmentally friendly and saves costs and energy. New renewable energy is also free from pollution, unlike the use of conventional power plants, but its use is still very limited in Ambon island. Therefore, this article will show the potential of new and renewable energy devoted to the tourism sector in the island of Ambon, through the utilization of solar energy or solar cells. Electric energy by utilizing solar energy is only used in part as street lighting and traffic light. The object of the research is on two tourist locations in Ambon island, namely Natsepa Beach and Hatusua Hot Water Bath on Tulehu. The results show that energy-efficient solar lights have simple components and are very easy to install and are very flexible in their use, and are one of the solutions to reduce the use of PLN electricity sources and can even save energy above 75% of the total supplied with PLN electricity. The total power in the two tourist locations is 2665 watts spread over 59 points with electricity sources coming from PLN. When using energy-saving solar lights, the buffer saves 2495 power with electricity savings of 93.58%.
Water is one of the natural resources that is almost 95% needed by humans for life. In addition to humans, other living beings also desperately need water as a living source. To get clean and healthy water, people usually take water in the well and then cook until enough boiling height and can kill germs or bacteria so that the water is worth to drink. Reverse Osmosis technology used in the depot filling the gallon drinking water is much in demand by the community because it is very practical and ready to drink or used for other needs. From the results of the reflection, the water fill in the gallon was still manual, where at the time of filling the gallon, the depot still uses switches to turn on and off the water filling on the gallon. This process can be repetitive, causing the switch to become worn and damaged. The calculation of a gallon fill is still a record of how many gallons are filled and sold for a day by the owner or officer working. Design of this prototype aims to realize a device that works automatically consisting of hardware devices such as mechanical and electrical devices and software in the form of microcontrollers and other electronic components that can be charging, and recording at the time of water filling in the depot. Method used is the method of designing the mechanical, electrical and software so as to produce a tool that can facilitate the user depot refill water filling, control and recording automatically. The results of this research is based on the ultrasonic sensors by modifying the transmitter and receive distance of 1.5 cm from a standard distance of 2.5 cm, hence the result is very maximal in filling and the water pairing for all types or of peacock gallons. The measured water level is the lowest level of 2.4 cm with a time of 06.39 seconds and a high level of 8 cm with a time of 06.31 seconds.
