SUMMARYA novel CMOS current-feedback operational amplifier (CFOA) aimed to low-power applications is proposed. The use of a compact class AB implementation allows high current-drive capability and simultaneously very low quiescent power consumption. Measurement results of a fabricated prototype show for an inverting configuration a closed-loop bandwidth of 1 MHz independent of gain setting, and a slew rate of 2 V/ s for a load capacitance of 30 pF and a quiescent power consumption of 264 W.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
