The objective of the research was to examine and analyze the articles that address public tourism policies in specialized magazines at a global level, with the aim of knowing through comparative public policies, alternative solutions in a post-pandemic scenario. Regarding the methodology, articles were selected whose titles presented one or more keywords that referred to the disease "Covid-19" and "public tourism policies" in Spanish and English. To process the information, the content analysis technique was used. The results showed that the place and space occupied by tourism public policies in the main tourism magazines is scarce and not seen as a management tool for the sector. The conclusion emphasized the lack of clarity regarding the methodology used in the articles and the scarce proposal of public policies that were implemented in situations of health crises, epidemics, wars, etc. For the rest, the following questions served as a guide for the analysis: 1) What is the role of governments in the tourism sector? and, 2) What public policies did governments implement in similar situations such as the current health crisis?
The "Espinar" stabilization lagoon is a body of wastewater that is located in the district (region of Puno), which accumulates wastewater that comes from the population of the city of Puno-Peru. The present study was carried out in January and February of 2019 in affluent and effluent wastewater. The measures of pH, water temperature, total suspended solids, electrical conductivity and salinity were evaluated. The results showed that there are significant differences between the data of the affluent and effluent samples during the periods analyzed (Krustal Wallis). The median concentrations values of the effluent for the parameters of temperature (16.60 C), salinity (0.67 mg/L), pH (7.70), total dissolved solids (669.00 ppm) and electrical conductivity (1463.07 μs/cm), they all show significant differences. Also, the removal efficiency was calculated by the total dissolved solids (TDS) and the positive removal of 7.80% of pollutant load was found. Although these results are within the established limits, the monitoring mechanisms must be established for an adequate control of the parameters evaluated and thus, there won't be a deterioration of the environment surrounding the lagoon.
Rabies, by definition, is an acute and fatal encephalomyelitis that affects man and a large number of domestic and wild animals. The present research aims to evaluate the main rabies indicators in Chucuito, a province of the Puno-Peru Region; the analysis of the data registered in the forms of the zoonosis sanitary strategy has been carried out in the Environmental Health Unit of the Health network, Chucuito. It is concluded that, during the evaluated years, there was only one outbreak of human rabies in 2010, coinciding with a low coverage of canine rabies vaccination (53%), and with a case of canine rabies in the same year. On the other hand, three cases of canine rabies were reported in unvaccinated dogs, the bitten people were treated for the most part, along with adequate control of the dogs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
