The family Crabronidae (order Hymenoptera) includes excavating and hunting wasps of more than 9,009 species within 249 genera that are distributed globally, especially in the tropics. The objective of this research was to improve the knowledge of the occurrence of the family Crabronidae in Mexico from a review of the scientific literature and to provide data on species of importance in biological control. The results revealed that 769 species representing 99 genera have been reported in Mexico. With the current review, 8.5% of the species known worldwide were found to be present in the country and the list of species was increased by 32%. The genus Cerceris and Trypoxylon had the highest number of species, 130 species and 58 species, respectively. The Mexican states of Baja California Norte, Sonora and Tamaulipas have the highest number of Crabronidae species. A total of 211 species were added to the list of Crabronidae in Mexico. Twelve genera and eight species of Crabronidae used as biological control agents of various pests were recognized. Further research on the diversity of this group of insects is suggested, given the importance that crabonids have as predators and natural enemies of insect pests that affect economically important crops.
As a result, among the dishes that most motivate to consume in the municipality of Escárcega are Pan de cazón, shrimps empanadas, shrimps al coco and the traditional panuchos campechanos, there are a number of people who prefer the consumption of traditional foods in fondas, regional food shops, mainly because of their price that is usually cheaper than a formal dish, but above all, because of the tradition of these foods that have been consumed by generations and that are a fundamental part of preserving their gastronomic traditions.
The superfamily Vespoidea of the order Hymenoptera is reportedly comprised of 27,389 species worldwide within 10 taxonomic families and represents a diversity of composition, behavioral habits, and ecological roles. Studies of Vespoidea in the state of Campeche, Mexico, are scarce, and most reports are focused on the family Formicidae. This study presents an analysis based on a literature review of the occurrence of Vespoidea in Campeche. Results indicate that 91 species in 3 taxonomic families (Formicidae, Pompilidae, and Vespidae) are found in Campeche. Tropical ecosystems of Campeche serve as habitats for 6.3% of the total species of Vespoidea in Mexico. Further research on the diversity and ecology of Vespoidea is suggested to increase our knowledge of Vespoidea as natural enemies and pollinators in agroecosystems and natural environments in the state of Campeche, Mexico.
The implementation of mentoring programs in higher level institutions has brought with it a series of implications that are susceptible to be evaluated, but above all, the way in which it is applied, and is generating the expected results for each student in the course The first semester and at the same time participates in the tutoring program corresponding to the Bachelor's Degree in Gastronomy of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Escárcega. For this reason, the main objective of this basic research, of descriptive type, was to analyze the conceptualization of the tutoring processes that receive the students that were object of study. To achieve the objective, a questionnaire applied to the 64 tutors was used and validated using the Cronbach alpha coefficient, showing a value of 6,779, indicating that this instrument has an acceptable degree of reliability, validating its use for the collection of plotted data In the Excel 2010 program. The results indicated that 80% of the students surveyed disagree with the tutorial action processes they receive from their tutors, while only 20% reported the existence of certain tutorial activities. Therefore it should be considered in detail the assignment and personal relationship between the student and the assigned tutor, seeking the correct planning and development of the activities according to the Degree in the work plan based on the institutional program of tutoring of the Institutes Decentralized Technology.
