ArAch, LinAres & hocsmAn Insurgencias rururbanas ÀGORA jects. We call them Rururban Insurgencies because they are more than resistance movements, and because their internal organization and their arguments overstep the dividing line that distinguishes and hierarchizes the urban and the rural. Located in the unique territoriality of a thousand-year-old city, they disrupt the processes of capital accumulation, challenge the underlying dichotomies and hierarchies of modernity, and promote visions of alternative developments in a context of crisis of civilization and global environmental deterioration.

En este escrito, con el objetivo de reflexionar acerca del sentido político de los conceptos de agricultura familiar y campesinado, abordamos un análisis del lugar que ocupan dichas categorías en el marco de Programas de Desarrollo rural y organizaciones sectoriales, a la luz de definiciones apuntadas por algunos autores (Archetti y Solen, 1974; Meillasoux, 1979; Bartra, 1982). Para situarnos y comprender en el horizonte hacia el cuál se orientan estos “usos” y “silencios”, previamente presentamos una caracterización del modelo agroalimentario hegemónico a nivel mundial y regional, así como su manifestación dominante en Argentina expresadas en el proceso de sojización.
