Resolution of mixtures by TLC-NMRAbstract: TLC-NMR (Tin Layer Chromatography-Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) allows the resolution and structural elucidation of analytes present in natural and synthetic mixtures directly, without prior purification processes. This is done through a NMR technique named DOSY (Diffusion Ordered Spectroscopy), which is based at the diffusion coefficient of analytes in solution, thus providing a versatile alternative technique for the study and understanding of molecular interactions of biological and chemical systems. Here the various types of interactions between the additive (micelles, ions, polymers, polysaccharide gel, proteins or chiral auxiliary) and the analyte in separation and identification sequence are discussed. Keywords: NMR; TLC; DOSY; mixtures; resolution.Resumo CCD-RMN (Cromatografia em Camada Delgada-Ressonância Magnética Nuclear) permite a resolução e elucidação estrutural de analitos presentes em misturas naturais e sintéticas, de forma direta, sem processos de purificação prévios. Isto é realizado através do experimento de RMN denominado de DOSY (Diffusion Ordered Spectroscopy), que se baseia no coeficiente de difusão do analito em solução, uma técnica alternativa versátil para o estudo e entendimento de interações moleculares em sistemas biológicos e químicos. Serão aqui definidos e discutidos os diversos tipos de interações entre o aditivo (micelas, íons, polímeros, gel polissacarídeo, proteínas ou auxiliar quiral) e o analito na seqüência de separação e identificação.
