The angular stability is a dynamic phenomenon associated with large variations of the angle of the rotor of synchronous generators and large variations of power active. The behavior of new generation technologies in the field of wind farms has a different behavior in this problem, since the power converter decouples dynamically the generator of the grid. This paper discusses the behavior of conventional generation systems versus wind systems in front of angular stability problem. In this work, both alternatives are compared.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
