Being immersed in the general and inevitable trend of the times, our country is step-by-step transforming itself into the stage of industrialization and modernization. Everything is coming down to ease, convenience and, above all, accuracy. Therefore, digital transforming is a great opportunity to close the gap towards the goal of becoming a much more developed country. Cloud computing plays a huge role in creating a revolutionary change in a good part of the economy, including Vietnam's banking system. Basically, it helps change the way existing resources are used, the operating structure by storing, distributing and processing information. Cloud computing application is becoming an inevitable course as it allows banks to integrate tasks through shared tools and platforms. As a result, decisions in economic movements are efficiently and promptly determined. The article focuses on introducing cloud computing platforms, digital transformation structures, analyzing the current situation, thereby giving recommendations on using cloud computing in the digital transformation of Vietnamese banks.

Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending is gaining popularity in Vietnam, especially in the past two years. In fact, this form of lending appeared a long time ago in the world with the establishment of Zopa in the U.K. in 2005. There is neither much research nor a strict legal framework on P2P lending in Vietnam. As a result, P2P lending platforms encounter many problems, especially legal issues during their operation in Vietnam. The article aims to provide a theoretical framework on P2P lending and the practical situation in developed markets such as the U.S. and European. We also present an overview of the P2P lending market and the performance of P2P lending platforms in Vietnam which we find not operating up to their essence. Based on the analysis and experience from other countries, we suggest some solutions to increase the effectiveness of this form of lending in Vietnam’s market.

It’s been considered to be a tough time for the domestic business community in recent years due to the change in the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, the outbreak of anti-globalization trend, the US interest rate hike, and the upcoming fourth industrial revolution. Those factors can lead to the reversal of international trade and investment, highly affecting young economies of high attraction, which, as those in Vietnam, consider exports and foreign investment as growth drivers. As the matter stands, a large number of Vietnamese enterprises have been suffering from unfair trade disputes and anti-dumping lawsuits on the way to global integration. That the enterprises lack considerate understanding of commercial legality and the spirit of solidarity to cope with trade barriers leads to such expense. Therefore, the author wishes to evaluate the ability of Vietnamese businesses to deal with the international trade barriers; and thereby make recommendations which could help those enterprises effectively respond to such barriers under the circumstance of global integration.
