Chemical effects ¡Isomeric transition /95m Tc / Retention / Hot chemistry SummaryThe chemical effects of the isomeric transition of ® sm Tc in a (NH 4 ) 1 "(® 5m^T cCl 6 solid matrix have been studied by solvent extraction and electrophoretic separation methods. A suitable method of calculation of the retention from the measured photopeak intensity of the ground and metastable states has been developed. The retention value found by the extraction method was close to 100% in contrast with that found by electrophoretic separation which was about 77%.
