Sustainable development is the most current topic of today; it means a moderate development that meets the needs of the present generation, and does not interdict the needs of future generations. An analysis of the sustainable development benefits in the mining companies (Mining and Smelting Basin Bor, RTB) presents a problem that can be solved using the multi-criteria decisionmaking methods (MCDM). The interest in analyzing the benefits of sustainable development in the Mining and Smelter Basin Bor originated from the fact that the benefits influence the growth, development and survival of the company. One approach based on the AHP method is proposed to solve the complex problem in this paper. The usability and effectiveness of the AHP approach has been considered in the empirical application of the proposed method for assessment the sustainable development benefits in the mining companies of Serbia (RTB Bor).
Hidraulični bageri primenjuju se u različitim oblastima privrede a najzastupljeniji su u građevinarstvu i rudarstvu. Na površinskim kopovima sa kontinualnim sistemima, klasifikuju se kao pomoćna mehanizacija a na površinskim kopovima sa diskontinualnim sistemima, kao osnovna mehanizacija. Kako je u oba slučaja njihova primena neizostavna, važno je izvršiti adekvatnu analizu postojećih podataka, u cilju optimizacije izbora tipa hidrauličnog bagera u odnosu na uslove rada datog površinskog kopa. U radu su opisane različite višekriterijumske metode koje su korišćene za analizu hidrauličnih bagera. Ukazano je na prednosti i nedostatke ovih metoda, kao i na kvalitet izlaznih informacija koje one daju a koje mogu značajno da utiču na donošenje budućih odluka pri nabavci ovih mašina.
Today in the modern business of the mining companies, the management puts emphasis on assessment the motivation of employees. Motivation of employees is a precondition for the successful operation of the company. This paper is aimed to present an innovative solution applying the multi-criteria method (MCDM) for assessment the motivation of employees in the mining companies. The obtained results show that the most effective is the theory of motivation for implementation in mining companies. Innovative solution as an auxiliary tool gives managers a complete view for assessment the motivation of employees in mining companies in order to increase profits.
Gearboxes used on mining machinery work under conditions of exceptional changes in working loads. Given the not negligible investment in purchasing the gearboxes and maintenance costs due to the failure of his elements, it is very important that they have a satisfactory service life. Based on their technical characteristics, a model will be created using the PROMETHEE method with the aim of ranking each of the offered alternatives. Model verification will be performed on the basis of hours worked in the practical application of the reducers analyzed.
