The main objectives of this research were: planning an extension program for farmers in the field of operation and maintenance of the drip irrigation system, by determining the level of farmers 'knowledge, conviction, and implementaion of the extension recommendations for the operation and maintenance of the drip irrigation system. It also aimed to determine the level of farmers' knowledge of the basic information about the drip irrigation system. Data Were Collected Using a Personal Interview Method by Questionnaire Prepared for this Purpose, for a Sample of 125 farmers, Frequencies, Percentage, and Spearman Rank Order Correlation Coefficient, were Used for Data Presentation and Analysis Using SPSS Program.The main findings can be summarized as follows: 44.0% of the farmers are between 37 and 53 years of age. 49.6% of the surveyed farmers are farm size between 3 -› 6 acre. 60.8% of the farmers have a number of years of experience in extension work ranging from 2 to 16 years. 55.2% of the farmers use the information resources as an average. 57.6% of farmers their knowledge level are ahigh basic information about the drip irrigation system. 64.0% of farmers their knowledge level are a medium of extension recommendations for the operation of the drip irrigation system. 52.8% of farmers their knowledge level are a low of extension recommendations for the maintenance of the drip irrigation system. There is a positive correlation between the of farmers knowledge level of extension recommendations for the operation and maintenance of the drip irrigation system., and between age, farm size, and use of sources of information, at a significant level of 0.05. while a level of 0.01 significance, with the benefit of information sources
