This p a p er p resents im p roved measurin g method for measurement of the shielding effectiveness (SE) of small enclosures. The current standard IEEE 299 for determinin g shielding effectiveness is limited to the case of physically lar g e enclosures with dimensions over 2 m. New measuring method was verified in the anechoic chamber on small shieldin g box with dimensions 29 x 28 x 24 cm. Comparison between some measured values and results from the numerical model is shown at the end of the paper.
