by detecting the fringe visibility of the interference patterns. Owing to the use of combination interference structure, experimental results show that the curvature sensor with maximal sensitivity of 10.171 dB m 21 within a measurement range of 0-0.48 m 21 is obtained. The low thermo-optic and thermoexpansion coefficient of the HiBi-PCF makes it is possible for the proposed sensor to overcome the temperature and curvature cross-sensitivity effects.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
