Lett. 96, 131111 (2010); 10.1063/1.3374330Time-correlated single photon counting imager for simultaneous magnetic resonance and near-infrared mammography Rev.We have demonstrated the performance of a position-sensitive and time-resolved photon counting system based on a microchannel plate photodetector with a delay-line anode, in combination with a picosecond laser source and two-channel fast timing technique. A spatial resolution of 220 pm and a temporal resolution of 500 ps were achieved. Examples of two-dimensional, both spectrally and temporally resolved molecular emission spectra are presented. The results o'btained clearly show the method to be suitable for those spectroscopic applications that require an extremely high sensitivity and multichannel spectral analysis with picosecond time resolution.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
