Lead I 4900Crystal Structure of New Selenosilicates Pb 1.75 M 0.5 SiSe 4 (M: Cu and Ag). -The title compounds are synthesized from the elements in a tube furnace at 1420 K for 4 h. As revealed by powder XRD the Ag-containing compound crystallizes in the space group I43d with Z = 16. The structure consists of isolated [SiSe4] 4tetrahedra and contains three different sites for metal counter cations.
