We have implemented a monolithic electronic 50 Gb/s 4 1 MUX core in an InP-based HBT technology. This rate is the fastest achieved in a monolithic 4: 1 MUX to our knowledge, and is currently limited by the speed limitations of our pattern generation equipment. Our 2:l MUX is too fast for characterization at present, but we present evidence that the speed of the 2:l MUX is at least 60 Gb/s.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
