The new design of soil tillage roller is proposed, it prevents non-uniform soil compaction. Optimal parameters of roller are obtained.

A soil cultivating roller equipped with a number of additional functional elements is developed, allowing to transform a passive roller into the monitoring system of soil density automatic regulation.

In order to increase the uniformity of soil compaction, a new design of tillage vibratory roller is proposed. The vibratory roller motion speed under which the outer drum oscillates in resonance mode ensuring effective impact is defined. Field tests have been carried out.
