A further case of blood chimerism in male twins concerning red and white cells is described. The erythrocyte chimerism could be detected by 5 out of 16 genetic marker systems and the lymphocyte chimerism by the analysis of autosomal polymorphisms of peripheral blood lymphocytes.
Abstract. In a case of disputed paternity only the HL‐A system demonstrated the nonpaternity of a deceased man whose HL‐A genotype could be deduced by testing his relatives. As a curiosity in this case the ‘father’ of this man was also excluded from the paternity by means of the HL‐A system.
