Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of New AminothiazolylCephalosporins with Elongated Side Chains.-Novel title cephalosporin antibiotics (VI) and (VII) with elongated side chains at the 2'-position are conveniently synthesized by similiar practical routes in order to find out the optimum side chain length for highest biological activities. In vitro MIC values seems to indicate an optimum side chain length like presented in (VI). Linear extensions of the chain length do not show any significant effects on the biological activity. -(KANG, H.-Y.; KOH, H. Y.; KIM, M. Y.; KIM, H. M.; YOON, D.; CHANG, M. H.; Bull. Korean Chem.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
