Purpose: To conduct an analytical study of the current state of Turkmenistan transport and logistics system, taking into account the geopolitical situation, including the questions of the development of logistics infrastructure and international transport corridors and ongoing large-scale transport-logistics projects. Methods: The method of analytical review of the state of transport and logistics system of the Republic of Turkmenistan is applied. Results: The characterization of the development of transport modes, of established trade-economic and transport links is given. The analysis of existing logistics infrastructure is carried out. The key features of Turkmenistan transport and logistics system are established. Promising target development tracks are formulated. Practical significance: An analytical review of the current state, trends and prospects for the development of Turkmenistan transport and logistics system has been carried out. It has been established that Turkmen transport and logistics system works with cargo flows through almost all transport modes. The country develops modern logistics tools, building modern competitive transport macrostructure, which includes the system of international transport corridors and multimodal type logistics centers, and pursues policy of open transport-logistic space and integration. Based on the study results, the key distinctive features of transport-logistic system existing image were formulated, SWOT analysis of transport-logistics system features was performed, as well as promising tracks of the system development were defined.
Purpose: To develop an automated algorithm using simulation modeling tools that allows calculating actual capacity of railway line with mixed traffic. Analytical formulas underlie the algorithm. Results: The algorithm features the use of simulation modeling tools and taking into account of the same name coefficient. The application of the given software product will allow to raise the efficiency and accuracy of actual capacity calculation accuracy. The data, obtained during the simulation, were compared to the data in the timetable, their discrepancy was revealed which basis on, simulation modeling value, integrated into existing formulas, was found. Based on all calculations, software algorithm has been developed with its subsequent implementation in Maple software environment in order to automate calculations and increase their efficiency. Methods: Simulation modeling and analytical comparison method were used. Practical significance: Improving the accuracy of calculations of the values of available capacity on the network of JSC "Russian Railways" and simplifying the implementation of such calculations. This algorithm, if implemented, would bring the calculated values closer to the real ones.
This paper considers methods of determining the capacity of railway lines with mixed traffic. This issue is relevant, since the calculation with the help of standard analytical formulas often does not correspond to the actual existing capacity of the railway line. In connection with this circumstance, the paper considers the method of calculating the capacity of the railway line using simulation modeling, the results of which are closer to the real values of the available capacity.
Purpose: To propose methodology for calculating actual throughput on railway line with full consideration of racing and drag effect of trains along their way on resulting actual throughput. Methods: Methods of analytical review, simulation and dynamic modeling, mathematical modeling were applied. Results: Analytical transformations of well-known formula for calculating throughput were performed. Analytical formula has been obtained that allows calculating actual throughput with higher accuracy. Practical significance: The results of the study can be used in the dispatch centers of JSC "Russian Railways" transportation management for more complete analysis of the operation of the polygon of a road, railway lines or individual sections in order of more detailed analysis of work, performed on transportation.
