Careful and intact removal of conjunctival cyst is important to prevent recurrence. Minor modifications in surgical technique according to the size, site and nature of cyst help in intact removal and prevent recurrence.

Alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS) is a rare, aggressive malignancy of uncertain histological origin with propensity of vascular invasion and distant metastasis. ASPS demonstrates strong predilection for adolescents and young adults with a female preponderance. The head and neck region is the commonly affected region in the pediatric population with orbit and tongue being most common. The indolent clinical course and asymptomatic nature often leads to misdiagnosis and delayed treatment. Herein, we present a case of ASPS affecting the tongue in 14-year-old boy which clinically mimicked hemangioma, common benign vascular tumor of tongue.

Filariasis, a tropical parasite infection, is a common public health problem in the Indian sub-continent. Occurrence of ilariasis with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is unusual though there are case reports of leishmaniasis, malaria, and other vector-borne diseases seen in association with leukemias. Filariasis co-existing with CML has not been documented to the best of our knowledge and hence de initely needs a space in literature. We report an incidental inding of bancroftian ilariasis in a 35-year-old female already diagnosed as CML.
