Abstract. The spatial organization of Mediterranean grassland in Spain is described, based on samples from 71 sites covering the existing variation in slope exposition and inclination.The whole set can be regarded as representing a trophic gradient, along which gradual variation in soil, species composition, biomass, and coverage were quantified. Corresponding to other studies from varying habitats, maximal species richness, diversity, and heterogeneity were observed on moderately infertile sites. Maximum species richness, over 60 species, occurred on sites with biomass values from 150–350 g / m2. Species richness values are much higher and biomass values are much lower than those found in temperate grasslands. The decrease in diversity towards the mosteutrophic communities is stronger than expected, but can be easily explained by the high grazing pressure here. The variation in diversity observed runs parallel with that in heterogeneity. Zones with a high species richness also have a high heterogeneity, meaning a low amount of dominance. Grazing is understood as abiotic form of disturbance. Differences in grazing pressure may modify the relation between richness and fertility. While the greatest grazing pressure coincides with the most eutrophic communities, decreasing progressively towards the oligotrophic ones, the trend predicted by the resource availability theory is maintained; species diversity will be maximal at intermediate levels of disturbance. Absence of grazing in the eutrophic communities would lead to an investment in the soil of the unconsumed organic matter.

A internet vem se tornando para a população uma fonte comum de busca de informações sobre temas ligados à saúde, inclusive sobre o vírus do papiloma humano (HPV). Este artigo apresenta uma avaliação da qualidade da informação sobre o tema HPV disponibilizada em websites sobre saúde e um ranking elaborado com base nos resultados obtidos. Para a avaliação foram aplicados 61 indicadores, divididos entre os critérios de conteúdo, usabilidade e legibilidade. No que se refere ao conteúdo, os websites em questão apresentaram informações sobre exames de diagnóstico, prevenção, tratamento e patologias que podem ser desenvolvidas. Quanto à usabilidade, todos os websites avaliados dispõem de um menu principal e possuem um layout agradável. Os indicadores da legibilidade foram atendidos em sua grande maioria, uma vez que todos os submetidos a essa avaliação apresentaram uso de cores, tamanho e formato de fontes aprazíveis. Observou-se um nível expressivo de qualidade das informações sobre o HPV disponibilizadas nos websites avaliados.

Sustainable development is one that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the future generations and it doesn't deplete resources for the future. Consume with conscious is a sustainable habit and usability of products contributes to this. The goal of this paper is to prove that the usability of software contributes positivity or negativity for sustainability. By calculating the amount of electrical power dissipated by an electronic device, you can discover the amount of energy lost by it, and consequently, to relate this quantity with the amount charged by the concessionaire for each kWh of energy used. It was concluded that a software with low usability cause users to lose a lot of time interacting with it and thus spend more energy and money that goes against the concept of sustainability.
