Recent publications on C60- and C70-fulleropyrrolidines are reviewed. Main attention is paid to a series of novel dyads and triads with porphyrins and their metal complexes, ferrocene derivatives, S-containing ligands, calixarenes, crown-ethers, polymers, and enzymes, as well as to relatively simple ligand systems. A certain attention is paid to fulleropyrrolidine polyadducts, multifullerenopyrrolidines, and functionalization of carbon nanotubes with pyrrolidine-containing moieties. Synthesis techniques, physicochemical methods to study the compounds obtained, and their main applications are examined. Representative examples for synthesis and applications are tabulated.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
