The article provides the analysis of applying of the production traumatism and occupational diseases indicators in the projects of Russian and international oil and gas companies.
The advantages and disadvantages of the main indicators were considered. The application features in occupational risk assessment and a possibility to compare the occupational safety level in different companies were discussed as part of implementation of oil and gas projects.
While investigating the international indicators, an assessment of application possibility of these indicators was presented in terms of the current aspects of the accident statistics in domestic companies.
The regulations and criteria of the occupational risk indicators system development in oil and gas companies were designed. The article offers the list of indicators to provide sufficient information for assessment of occupational health and safety conditions in the company and to develop risk response activities.
