Since the emergence of steppe habitats, ungulates have been their integral part. Daily grazing of wild ungulates had a beneficial effect on soil vegetation and microclimate. Unfortunately, herds of wild horses have vanished and been replaced by livestock. An investigated virgin land was a forb plant community with a predominance of Stipa lessingiana and Festuca valesiaca. As phytocoenosis degraded, the occurrence of Artemisia austriaca increased, and complete replacement of forbs by wormwood steppe was observed. The presented results obtained in the ecosystems of pastures subjected to zoogenic aridisation demonstrate that the agrocoenosis first loses mesophilic components of the Coleoptera fauna (Athous haemorrhoidalis, Calathus erratus, C.
Purpose: The forest sector in Russia is of great ecological, economic and social importance not only locally, but also globally. Digitalization of society, of course, entails a change in financial, economic and legal postulates. The article indicates the interconnection between the economic security of the Russian Federation and security of forest industry. Design / Methodology / Approach: The article reveals the prospects of economic security of forest industry on the basis of the analysis of statistical data on crimes committed and the historical background of Russian forest industry. Results: On the basis of the conducted research the author gives recommendations on choosing the strategy for development of forestry in Russia, represents statistical data on crimes committed in forest industry. Practical implications: The applied value of the study is expressed in highlighting the ways of Russian forest industry development as a vital element of Russian economy and economic security in the context of modern development of society. Originality/Value: The originality of the author's approach is in summarizing the findings on the basis of regional, historical and legal analysis taking into account the transformation of economic systems and the modernization of the world community.
The modern conditions for the transformation of the national economy under the influence of the development of a green economy and digitalization create conditions for strengthening the impact of the existing ones and creating new threats to the environmental, economic and social security of the state. Global climate change and the adoption of public policies for the development of sustainable and balanced use of natural resources dictate the need to develop modern ways to improve the activities of law enforcement agencies to ensure the protection and protection of the natural ecosystems of the Russian Federation. The purpose of this study is to study the activities of the internal affairs bodies to ensure the environmental and economic security of the forest complex of Russia. During the study, the following methods were used: structural-logical analysis, non-participatory observation, methods of statistical grouping. As a result of the study, the author analyzed the dynamics of various indicators and individual measures that reflect the effectiveness of the internal affairs bodies in protecting and protecting forests. The proposed mechanism for countering threats to the environmental and economic security of forestry and industry by internal affairs bodies is comprehensive and practical. The use of the proposed tool will increase the effectiveness of public authorities in maintaining economic security and preserving forests as a natural resource.
