Abstract. The paper demonstrates the application of mathematical optimization (non-linear, mixed integer problem) to solve the transportation problem for a multi-node capacity market. Proposed the model that assures adequate cost minimizing generating resources selection and prices capacity within every node on the basis of price bids of market participants and power system structure, and suggest electric power flow distribution. The proposed method of deficiency nodes allocation and pricing can be used for estimation of additional (deficient) capacity value.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
