The paper presents the experimental findings proving the need for the development of anticipatory competence of future non-science specialists as a component of their professional competence. The objective of the research is to improve the level of anticipatory skills of university students at verbal and cogitative and communicative levels via a developmental training programme. Anticipatory skills in a speech activity are considered as a factor of adequacy of communicative situations and effectiveness of interpersonal interaction. The results collected after comparing the features of speech anticipations before and after the training demonstrate how the development of predictive abilities at speech, cogitative and communicative levels contributes to a high level of situational adaptability in various communicative situations. The anticipatory competence training programme of future non-science specialists has proved its effectiveness. The qualitative assessment of changes in terms of anticipation at speech, cogitative and communicative levels has allowed toascertain the productivity of the proposed method.
The purpose of the study is to explore the clients’ perceptions of therapeutic changes due to their existential fulfillment experience and authenticity in their relationships with the world. The content of the study reveals the subjective perceptions and experiences of clients about the changes in the understanding of themselves and the world in the course of existential psychotherapy. Consideration of the qualitative changes in a person’s life as a result of psychotherapy was based on the concept of existential fulfillment and de-sedimentation of “I-structure”. An opening up of opportunities for experiencing the fullness of human existence, as well as exploring ways of avoiding existential fulfillment, present themselves as key aspects in existential psychotherapy. Research methods are Existence Scale (A. Längle and C. Orgler); semantic differential for measuring therapeutic changes of clients in the course of existential psychotherapy; and factor analysis. Going through a psychotherapeutic experience has a positive effect on the dynamics of self-distancing indices, self-transcendence, freedom, and responsibility. The experience of existential personal fulfillment in psychotherapy leads to changes in human contact with oneself and the ability to successfully interact with the external environment. Experiencing the true existential level of living helps a person to be aware of their needs and to stay in contact with their feelings.
The results of studying the features of students' learning activity, by means of electronic educational resources are presented in the article. 778 students of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University took part in the research. This sample included students from all institutions and fields of education. The sample of the study was divided into two groups. The first group included 399 students, with experience in working with electronic educational resources (EER). The second group consisted of 379 students, who did not have any experience in working with EER. All studied indicators were divided into the following categories: social portrait, learning activity, professional competences, satisfaction with the quality of education, professional development. Questioning and frequency analysis were the methods of the research, used in the work. As a result of the investigation, we obtained significant data. They showed the main distinguishing characteristics of student learning activities, when using electronic educational resources, the specific aspects of educational motivation and the students' attitude to the use of technologies in the educational process.
The paper presents results of research of volunteer activity motivation for young people in interrelation with world assumptions of a person. As a hypothesis of the study, it was suggested that the motivation for volunteer activity in the adolescence period is grounded on certain world assumptions and personal values. The study used the following methods: the World assumptions scale (R.Janoff-Bulman); and the Purpose-in-Life Test (J.Crumbaugh & L.Maholic). A semantic differential has been developed to study the motivation of volunteer activity. With the help of factor analysis, two leading motivations of volunteer activity were revealed: motives of personal growth and idealistic motives. The study was a comparative analysis of the studied indicators in a group of volunteers and in a group of young people not engaged in volunteer activity. It was determined that the motivation of volunteers in teens is based more on external factors (positive attitude of others, social significance, social contacts) and is not determined by deep world assumptions of the individual. The value of the "I" depends more on the idealistic beliefs and the personal orientation toward their support than on the meaningfulness and fruitfulness of one's own life.
