Este relato apresenta a experiência de um grupo PET-Saúde da Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (Uefs), na Bahia, Brasil, em Unidades de Saúde, em uma perspectiva crítico-reflexiva da interação ensino-serviço-comunidade. Participaram do projeto acadêmicos dos cursos de Ciências Farmacêuticas, Educação Física, Enfermagem, Medicina e Odontologia. A avaliação do processo incluiu reuniões de acompanhamento, bem como o uso do portfólio. A experiência dos diferentes atores no grupo caracterizou-se como uma vivência inovadora, desafiadora e complexa, uma vez que exigiu articulação entre instituição de ensino, serviços de saúde, profissionais e comunidade.
This article focuses on Introductory Training as a starting point inside the capacitation process of members from SUS (Sistema Unico de Saúde--Brazilian Public Health System). Its premise is that management practices demand an understanding of the body of knowledge existing in the micro and macro managers' workspaces. By articulating Introductory Training and the management area, such training is deemed strategic for nurses undertaking management positions, as it creates an opportunity for development of technical, administrative, ethical and political competences. Within the organizational scope, an Introductory Training must be planned and implemented in a participative and democratic way, in order to provide managers with a broader comprehension of the context they are inserted in.
This article deals with the management of basic health care units, which in the context of municipalization of health, is being placed as strategic to the consolidation of the health care model prescribed by the Integrated Health Care System. It intends to contribute to the process of reflection concerning management, pointing out some possibilities for the manager's work in its administrative, technical and political dimensions.
