Abstract
The Corridor Mar del Plata-Tandil (CMT) has its axis on Route 226. It occupies a territory in a regional scale. This definition has made possible to consider the potentials and strengths of the area, due to the relationships defined by the links among its population, resources and activities. The simultaneous coexistence of different activities in this Corridor, for example, the production of food and the residential function as an option, shows a complex spatial dynamic, interesting to be investigated. Therefore, this publication aims to study the territorial dynamics of CMT, in a spatiotemporal perspective, highlighting the milestones of the recent past and other contributing factors that influenced the evolution and present organization of this territory.
