During the long-term operation of the plasma reactor, decreases in the plasma concentration were noticed despite the constant maintenance of all parameters. One of the factors is the decrease of the nitrogen content on the surface of the electrode, in order to eliminate it, the supply voltage has been increased to 11 kV. The next decisive factor in the decrease of plasma concentration is the oxidation of the electrode surface, therefore two electrodes were used: first one with solid gold and the other one copper covered with galvanized gold with a thickness of 10 μm. During the experiment, a large decrease in plasma concentration was observed when the electrode coated by gold was used. High-energy electrons have knocked out the gold atoms from the electrode, as a result of which the gold evaporated and the raids layers formed. After a month of working of the electrodes, metallographic researches were carried out, the results of which are described in this publication.

It is important that this knowledge is structured, grounded and connected not only with practical action, but with technical thinking, which will allow for the proper functioning of the students in their daily lives. Technical thinking has a conceptually-imaginative nature, and its development is possible when we provide innovative thinking and creative teachers, pay attention to the selection of appropriate tasks and practical actions.
Home automation systems are widely offered and increasingly available. The number of people who would like to purchase a property with intelligent solutions or equip their own home with such solutions is increasing. The devices and solutions of the home automation systems being built are most often based on IEEE 802.11g Wi-Fi communication, whose operation depends on the level of the wireless signal and is characterised by high latency. The use of communication based on the Inter-Integrated Circuit (I 2 C) protocol in the control of home appliances significantly reduces the cost of building the system. The aim of this paper is to analyse, compare and identify the most optimal solution for home automation based on I 2 C transmission. The analysis covers commercially available systems for simply and cheaply increasing I 2 C transmission for the smart home.
