A numerical investigation of the double-effect adsorption refrigeration cycle is examined in this manuscript. The proposed cycle is based on the cascading adsorption cycle, where condensation heat that is produced in the top cycle is utilized as the driving heat source for the bottom cycle. The results show that the double-effect cycle produces a higher coefficient of performance (COP) as compared to that of the conventional single-stage cycle for driving temperatures between 100 °C and 150 °C in which the average cycle chilled water temperature is fixed at 9 °C . Moreover, the COP of the double-effect cycle is more than twice that of the single-stage cycle when the temperature reaches 130 °C . It is also observed that the adsorbent mass ratio of the high temperature cycle (HTC) to the low temperature cycle (LTC) affects the performance of the double-effect adsorption refrigeration cycle. This research aims to analyze influence the performance of JNE employees is seen from human relations and rewards in Pekanbaru. The research was conducted by means of descriptive analysis method and the sample used was all employees of JNE Pekanbaru, totaling 60 respondents using the census method or saturated sample. The analysis technique used by researchers is multiple linear regression analysis carried out with technology, namely using SPSS, 20. The results of the study state that the human relation variable partially has a positive and significant influence on the performance of JNE Pekanbaru employees, namely the t-count is greater than the t-table, while the reward partially also has a positive and significant effect on the performance results of JNE Pekanbaru employees t- calculate the size of the t-Table. Then after testing simultaneously it was found that human relations and rewards have a positive and significant effect on the performance of JNE Pekanbaru employees, namely 53.4% and 46.6% influenced by other variables not examined.
Objective: This study aimed to determine the decreased immune response of tuberculosis (TB) with diabetes mellitus (DM) patients. Methods: A total of 105 TB patients who were undergoing treatment at health centers and hospitals in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar were included in this study. Data collection was carried out by interviewed to obtained demographic and respondent categories based on the diagnosis. Measurements of height and weight were also conducted to obtain body mass index data. 5 mL peripheral blood was taken from each respondent group into a TB with DM (TB+DM) and TB without DM (TB-DM). The blood tested usage tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) level using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) using IFN-γ release assay. Results: The average concentration of both TNF-α and IFN-γ was higher in TB-DM group (TNF-a 5.2 pg/mL; IFN-g 1.5 IU/mL) than in TB+DM group (TNF-a 2.06 pg/mL; IFN-g 2.86 IU/mL). There were significant differences in TNF-α between the two groups but no significant differences in IFN-γ protein concentration. Conclusion: The immune response of TB patients with DM symptoms was markedly reduced by the decreased expression of TNF-α and IFN-γ.
This study aims to determine the readiness of the professional competence of librarians in the development and development of iKuansing in the Dispersip Kuansing. The results of this study are presented in accordance with Sudarsono's theory, namely the readiness of the professional competence of librarians. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, researchers used data analysis techniques through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. To test the credibility of the data, triangulation technique was used. The result of this research is qualitative research. Data analysis is descriptive. The research subject is the iKuansing application, staff and librarians at Dispersip money. The object of this research is the readiness of the librarian's professional competence in the development and development of iKuansing. The results of this study are the iKuansing in the Dispersip Kuansing consisting of 10 indicators, according to the informant's perception 8 of the competencies already possessed by the librarian are: librarians have been able to create and manage efficient digital technology, librarians are able to monitor, filter, and select up-to-date, librarians have knowledge and management skills of Pusdokinfo, librarians are able to provide user education, librarians use information technology for information distribution, librarians able to develop information products that can be used anywhere, librarians are able to continuously update information services, librarians are able to understand the ethics of cyberspace already owned by librarians. Meanwhile, there are two indicators that do not have readiness, namely: librarians have not been able to assess the needs of users on a regular basis because librarians have not provided space for users to provide input and suggestions as evaluation material for librarians and libraries. Librarians have not been able to communicate information services to the leadership because iKuansing is an activity program that has been designed by the library planning department.
A series of disasters, from the 2004 Aceh Tsunami to the 2009 Padang Earthquake, has changed the paradigm of urban development in coastal areas in Indonesia. District or City Regional Regulations concerning Regional Spatial Planning finally oblige disaster mitigation by constructing evacuation roads. The attraction of the Tsunami Evacuation Road (TES) which was built with a relatively wide size in the city, makes the road a favourite route for motorists. The increased vehicular traffic also triggered the addition of the number of new commercial buildings along the road. The Indonesian Road Capacity Manual 1997 for urban roads is used as a reference in the analysis of the service performance of these road sections. The relatively rapid increase in traffic volume and side-road disturbances have resulted in a relative decline in road performance in a short period. The active role of the government in minimizing body side disturbances, by maximizing the implementation of traffic management and control of land-use changes are options.
