I. The late results of meniscectomy were studied by following up 5 0 knees operated on at least 10 years previously.2. The incidence of symptoms and signs was found to be 36 per cent.3. The incidence of radiographic changes was found to be 62 per cent.4. It is suggested that one of the factors responsible for the bad late results of meniscectomy is the length of history before operation.
