Multispectral imaging is used in various applications including astronomy, industry and agriculture. In retinal imaging, the single-shot multispectral image stack is typically acquired and analyzed. This multispectral analysis can provide information on various structural or metabolic properties. This paper describes the multispectral improvement of a videoophthalmoscope, which can acquire retinal video sequences of the optic nerve head and peripapillary area using various spectral light illumination. The description of the multispectral video imaging is provided and several applications are described. These applications include multispectral retinal photoplethysmography, visualization of spontaneous vein pulsation and multispectral RGB image generation.
This article deals with simple image processing algorithms which are used for navigation of the robot in unknown environment. In the beginning of the article image processing procedures used in these algorithms are defined. The transformation of coordinate system of camera to robot’s coordinate system is introduced. The main body of the article consists of the definition of L-K optical flow method used in proposed visual odometry system. Article also contains the parameter settings of the used methods. Emphasis in these algorithms has been placed on simplicity and speed, so that they can be carried out in real-time. Algorithms have been verified on several scenarios.
This work deals with the possibilities of contemporary automatic identification of objects. Automatic object identification can be done by two computational procedures, namely object detection and object recognition. This work deals with the automatic buildings detection, specifically. Presented detection is performed using the edge detectors, namely Prewwitt, Roberts, Canny and Sobel. The main goal of our work was to automate the device for the detection of hazardous substances in the air, as the detection of hazardous substances is realized by laser-based CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) stand-off detectors, which evaluate the measured data from the reflected laser beam. In this case, buildings are the most reflective surfaces. In order to detect a building, it is necessary to find a suitable edge detector to be used in further research and serve as a basis for software solution of automatic identification.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
