Abstract This research is about the acquisition of Arabic as a second language of high school students at Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Jombang East Java. The type of research in this research is the Qualitative Research, because the result obtained is in the form of description data in the form of a word, phrase, sentence, etc. Qualitative research is a research method that does not need to design research hypotheses, nor do researchers use numbers in interpretation to produce. The results of this research are: Factors that support their success in the Arabic language acquisition is divided into two: internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are factors related to mental and psychiatric students at Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Jombang. While external factors relating to full support from madrasah leaders and teachers with the formation of the Language Club (LC), implementation of language programs), the diversity of methods in teaching Arabic, organizing activities and programs in language.

This article explores how technology can be used in the Arabic learning process. Depending on the situation faced by different educational institutions, other problems in learning Arabic can lead to changing the way they teach. This can be done through the development of information-rich technology that can be used anywhere so as to improve learning outcomes. The development of information technology has been very fast in recent years, as for one of the fields that have felt or been significantly affected by this technological development, namely in the field of education. In essence, education is a process of providing information or communication between educators to students in the form of educational information, while educators are a source of information, media, ideas and educational materials, and some elements of education get a touch of educational technology so that e-learning The formulation of the research problems are: 1) What is the introduction of educational technology, 2) how is the development of educational technology, 3) What is the relationship between educational technology and education. The research method held by the researcher is a literature study (Library reserch) and qualitative descriptive. This study examines the study of educational technology theory in Arabic. Data collection methods used by researchers in this study were observation, interviews and documentaries. In this study, researchers used a triangulation approach for data validity.

In the globalization era, in the 20th century, the development of Information and Communication Technology is very rapid. Even in the educational process, the teacher must be intelligent and able to choose the type of educational material he uses in the teaching and learning process. Educational materials play an essential role in the educational process and have an individual contribution to education, which impacts students. The problem in Wahid Hashim Balung Jember Islamic high school was the lack of unique education materials for reading skills. This study aims: 1) to determine the steps of developing reading materials for teaching Arabic through Android and 2) to determine the effectiveness of teaching reading materials for teaching Arabic through Android. This study uses the model approach proposed by Borg and Gall, and researchers use pre-test and post-test to develop reading materials. The results of this study showed that reading materials using Android developed by researchers effectively improve students ' reading skills. في عصر العولمة، قرن 20 أن التطورات في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصالات هي سريعة جدا. حتي في عملية التعليم، ينبغي للمعلم أن يكون ذاكيا وقادرا على اختيار نوع المادة التعليمية التي يستخدمها في عملية التعليم والتعلم. إن المادة التعليمية تؤدي دورا هاما في عملية التعليم ولها إسهامات الفردية في التعليم، وهذا له تأثير على التلاميذ. ومشكلات ما وقعت في المدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية واحد هاشم بالونج جمبر عدم وجود مواد التعليمية خاصة في مهارة القراءة. إن الأهداف من هذا البحث هي: 1) ولمعرفة الخطوات تطوير مادة القراءة لتعليم اللغة العربية عبر أندرويد 2) لمعرفة فعالية تعليم مادة القراءة لتعليم اللغة العربية عبر أندرويد. استخدمت الباحثة منهج البحث والتطوير بالنموذج الذي اقترحه برج وغال، واستخدمت الباحثة الإختبار القبلي والإختبار بعدي في تطوير المادة القراءة. ونتيجة هذه الرسالة هي أن المادة القراءة عبر أندرويد المطورة من الباحثة لها فعالة لترقية مهارة القراءة التلاميذ.
