The approximate analytical solutions of the D-dimensional space of the Schrӧdinger equation is studied with a newly proposed potential model. The proposed potential is a combination of Coulomb potential and inverse trigonometry scarf-type potential. The energy equation and the corresponding wave function are obtained using parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The energy equations for Coulomb potential and inverse trigonometry scarf-type potential are respectively obtained by changing the numerical values of the potential strengths. It is found that the results obtained are equivalent to that previously obtained for Hellmann potential which is a combination of Coulomb potential and Yukawa potential. It is also found that the results for inverse trigonometry scarf potential are equivalent to the results previously obtained for Yukawa potential. Also, the Onicescus information energy of a system under the influence of the newly proposed potential is investigated in detail.
This article describes the data for examining the influence of government expenditure and revenue on Nigerian economic growth. Data were extracted from the World Bank database and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Statistical bulletin. The data are available with this article. The data is related to the research article “Newly proposed estimator for ridge parameter: an application to the Nigerian economy” (Lukman and Arowolo, 2018) but not discussed in detail. This data article will assist economists in identifying factors that will affect the economy of a country, especially in the African region.
In this article, we construct a new subclass of analytic functions involving a generalized differential operator and investigate certain properties including the radius of starlikeness, closure properties and integral means result for the class of analytic functions with negative coefficients. Further, the relationship between the results and some known results in literature are also established.
The study of univalent functions and its applications is an hallmark of geometric function theory. Since univalent functions are analytic and has one-to-one mapping, it has a wide range of applications in the fields of studies where transformations (enlargements and reductions) are done. The functions also have angle and orientation preserving properties among other uses. Many authors have defined and studied various classes of univalent functions using different approaches and tools. In this study however, the authors used a generalized multiplier transformation to define a and investigate a new class of functions T_σ^n (λ). Various properties of the class of functions were investigated. The results extend some known results in literature.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
