She is nationally known for her work in nutrition education. In 1961 she received the Borden Award for her research contributions in nutrition with special reference to the nutritional status of children. Dr. Eppright holds the Ph.D. in physiological chemistry, Yale University. In 1957 she served as FAQ consulta.nt in Baghdad, Iraq, where she taught nutrition at the Tahrir College for vVomen. DR. MATTIE PATTISON is Professor of Home Economics Education, Iowa State University. In 1963 Dr. Pattison was appointed to serve as chairman of the Baroda project, a program to develop graduate study and research in home economics at Baroda University, India. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Pattison has served as consultant to the Iowa State Department of Education on the homemaking curriculum in Iowa secondary schools. She holds the Ph.D. in education from the University of Chicago.
