At present, the condition of competition in a network is very tight due to rapid technological changes, economic and political stability in Indonesia which is experiencing uncertainty, and the large number of foreign investors entering, as well as new competitors. Companies themselves are required to always innovate in today's increasingly modern era. This competition must be able to create a good network in order to create competitive advantage and company performance in the formation of good Supply Chain Management. This study aims to determine the effect of supply chain management on competitive advantage and company performance. This study will examine supply chain management on competitive advantage and company performance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bandung City, West Java. In this study, there are several differences from previous research, namely the indicators that will be used in this study. Namely, the measured supply chain management variables are indicators of technology use, supply chain speed, customer satisfaction, supply chain integration and inventory management. The variables of competitive advantage that are measured are the indicators of Price, Quality, and Time to market, and sales growth. Meanwhile, the measured company performance variables are indicators of financial performance and operational performance. The analytical method used in testing the hypothesis is to use Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of AMOS software version 20. Respondents in this study were 150 respondents in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bandung, West Java. The results of this study indicate that supply chain management has a positive and significant effect on the company's competitive advantage. Competitive advantage has a positive and significant effect on company performance. Supply chain management has a positive and significant effect on company performance. Supply chain management has a positive and significant effect on company performance through competitive advantage.

The rice industry policy must be comprehensive with a scope of policy from upstream to downstream. In other words, it must cover all supply chains of the rice industry consisting of five levels, such as, the level of farmers who process rice, grain traders, rice traders, rice traders in production areas and rice traders in urban markets.The purposes of this research are (1) to identify and model the current supply chain system of the rice industry; (2) analyze the simulation of the rice industry supply chain system policy; and (3) recommend rice industry policies which provide incentives for all rice industry supply chain actors. The research method used is the case study method. The aim is to understand a phenomenon in the rice industry supply chain system in depth in West Java Province – Indonesia. The results show that the rice industry supply chain system model is a closed cycle consisting of material flow feedback in the form of grain, rice, money and information flow in the form of demand that occurs in the interaction of actors from farmers, grain traders, rice milling units (RMU), rice traders in production centers to rice traders in urban wholesale markets in Bandung and Jakarta. Every businessman in the rice industry has the same goal, which is to maximize the profits. Thus, it can potentially lead to a conflict of interest which is manifested in the desire of every businessman to sell as much as they produce at the highest possible price but this will not happen because of the limited resources they have, such as capital and the market demand they receive. The strategy of increasing production is often carried out by the government at this time which it cannot be done partially without considering other rice industry supply chain instruments. The impacts of this partial policies are farmers, collectors, rice traders and rice mills gain unstable profits and the benefits received are lower than before the production strategy and policy were implemented. The recommended policy strategy is the rice industry supply chain system should be able to guarantee the availability of sufficient rice and capable of guaranting the welfare of farmers with a policy that integrates rice farming and agro-industry production strategies, financing strategies and accessible to all levels of actors in the rice industry supply chain, human resource development strategies and rice business risk management strategies, simultaneously. The integrated policy strategy needs to be carried out since rice supply chain management is a coordinating system of material flow in the form of grain, rice, money, facilities and information flow in the form of orders or requests, knowledge and innovation.

The objectives of this research are: (1) To simplify business processes so that supply chain management starts from raw materials to finished materials and distributes these products to end consumers effectively and efficiently; (2) Build a web-based supply chain management application system to make it easier for companies in their business processes. This research method uses qualitative methods. The final results of this study: (a) Application of supply chain management information system designed for PT. ABCD can reduce supply chain uncertainty in companies. Because the implementation of the system can help the company in controlling the procurement of raw materials that must always be available in accordance with the company's needs; (b) The supply chain management information system application that is designed can describe the correlation between suppliers and companies, companies and users who can facilitate ordering goods from suppliers to companies and vice versa, so that the delivery of ordered goods is in accordance with the order and arrives at the company on time and in the right amount; (c). Provide opportunities for suppliers to participate in the implementation of the system to provide online price quotes.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Mempermudah dalam proses bisnis sehingga dalam pengelolaan rantai pasok mulai dari bahan mentah sampai bahan jadi dan mendistribusikan produk tersebut kepada konsumen akhir dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien; (2) Membangun suatu sistem aplikasi manajemen rantai pasok yang berbasis website sehingga lebih memudahkan perusahaan dalam proses bisnisnya. Sebab, penerapan sistem tersebut bisa membantu perusahaan dalam pengadaan dan mengendalikan bahan baku yang mesti selalu tersedia sesuai dengan keinginan perusahaan; (b) Aplikasi sistem informasi manajemen rantai pasok yang dirancang tersebut dapat menggambarkan korelasi pemasok dengan perusahaan, perusahaan dengan pemakai yang bisa mempermudah pemesanan barang dari pemasok ke perusahaan maupun sebaliknya sehingga pengiriman barang yang dipesan sesuai dengan pesanan dan sampai ke perusahaan tepat waktu dan tepat jumlah; (c) Memberi peluang kepada pemasok agar ikut serta ke dalam penerapan sistem tersebut untuk memberikan penawaran harga secara online

The problem of food security has always been an important and urgent concern for Indonesia. The greater uncertainty in food production, greater price volatility, increased demand due to population growth and rising incomes, uncertain climate change, and natural disasters are still latent problems. Strategic, sustainable, and comprehensive efforts that can overcome these challenges must be immediately carried out to ensure the availability of sufficient and equitable food availability. This article reviews the role of Bulog as a state-owned enterprise (SOE) established to ensure the availability and security of domestic food. With the presence of Bulog, it is hoped that food availability will be maintained at any time and place at affordable prices, especially for low-income households. Comprehensive food and agriculture policies that can respond to future challenges must be followed up in the form of policy implications in each sector and the implications of various relevant institutions. The food security system must be created based on efficient food self-sufficiency and optimal levels of buffer stocks. For this reason, the government must provide adequate policy support so that food self-sufficiency can be realized and Bulog can function optimally.
