The yields of leaf protein from several short-duration crops were determined. The yields depended on species, variety, season, fertilisers and frequency of cutting. Many species responded with increased yields to fertilisers. Between 40 and 63 % protein nitrogen was extractable from cowpea and the plant produced extractable proteinatarateof 11.2kg-ha-dayduringtheinonsoonbut only4.5kg-ha-day during the winter. Good yields were also obtained from the by-product leaves of cauliflower, cabbage and knolkhol. Some varieties of wheat and Tithonia tagetijora were also found promising for leaf protein production.
This article explains discovery fuzzy optimal solution without transforming into crisp LP Problems and ranking method. On the other hand, an attempt has been made by newly introducing the triangular and pentagonal IFN to deal with FLP problems with all types of constraints. The maximization and minimization FLP problems are solved by different Big-M techniques which are further compared, and an optimal solution has been found. The purpose of this paper is to arrive at the finest technique for unraveling FLP problems with triangular IFN and pentagonal IFN. The various Big-M methods are compared to solve FLP problems and it is observed that the answers are identical in each case but Ghadle et.al (Alternative Big-M Method) requires less time and minimum iterations with desired IFOS.
Background:
Oral rehydration solution (ORS) is the most significant development in the management of acute diarrheal disease in children.
Aims and Objectives:
The aim of the study was to assess the knowledge and skill regarding ORS preparation among the mothers having under five children.
Methodology:
The cross-sectional study was done among 100 mothers of under five children from rural areas of Selsura, Wardha district.
Results:
The results showed that 15% of the mothers had the knowledge of taking a clean glass of water, 76% of the mothers knew to add a spoonful of sugar and to add a pinch of salt, 21% knew to stir it till all dissolves, 18% mothers tasted the solution, and 2% replaced the caps of salt and sugar bottle.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
