In this study, we report the synthesis and antibacterial activity of a new series of 5-amido-1-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-1H-4-pyrazolecarbonitriles. Our results show that all compounds exhibit antimicrobial activities against methicillin susceptible Staphylococcus aureus and methicillin resistant S. aureus with MIC values of 25.1 and 91.0 lM.
Nucleophilic substitution of hydrogen in nitro derivative of imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridine has been used as a key step in the one‐pot synthesis of a new highly fluorescent heterocyclic system pyrido [1″,2″:1′,2′]imidazo[4′,5′:5,6]pyrido[2,3‐b]indole. J. Heterocyclic Chem., (2012).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
