A wide variety of pathologic findings present with unilateral sinonasal symptoms. A careful history, examination, and radiographic studies can often determine the responsible disease process. Histologic confirmation remains obligatory for diagnosis. There are also some rare cases, which should be considered in differential diagnosis of unilateral polyp or mass lesion on nasoendoscopy.

Transoral robotic supraglottic laryngectomy for supraglottic laryngeal cancer is an oncologically safe and functional procedure with better results when compared to conventional open surgery.

Because of the severe synovial and epineurial histopathological abnormalities and inadequate neural regeneration capacity, surgical open carpal tunnel decompression should be planned earlier in diabetic CTS patients. Further studies should be considered to evaluate the histopathological features of diabetic CTS patients early in the course of the disease.
