⎯ as a maritime country, Indonesia is rich in natural resources, resulting in theft and territorial violations, so it needs to increase sea power, including submarines. Currently, Indonesia is developing submarines, so it is necessary to choose the best alternatives and elements to control national interests at sea. The research objectives are to find out the best alternative, the key element in developing submarine force structure, and the implications for national interests at sea. The research method is carried out by conducting a literature study to compile a questionnaire and consulting with experts to determine the best variables and sub-elements and followed by a survey of participants as a purposive random sampling using the analytical hierarchy process and interpretive structural modeling. From the research results, the five highest alternative variables are vision and mission (0.102), shipyard (0.90), government policy (0.84), technology transfer (0.56), and budget (0.53). Whereas the key sub-elements of development of submarine force structure are improving the quality of education, the need for the government's political will, national interests, national defense policy, and the role of the defense ministry. By increasing the submarine force structure will be able to maintain the national interest in the sea in protecting natural resources and prevent territorial violations.
⎯ fishing vessels for catching small pelagic fish resources in fishing line III FMA 572 are dominated by vessels with a capacity of <30 GT. The capacity of vessels and fishing gear for pelagic types is 180 GT purse vessels. The research is study development of technical specifications of 180 GT purse seine vessel. The research method is a research design of 180 GT fishing vessels with Autocad and Maksurf software. The findings of the technical specifications of purse seine vessels are 180 GT with a length of 35.30 m with a speed of 8 knots. This fishing vessel uses purse seine fishing gear with a length of 600 m and a width of 150 m, which is equipped with a power block and fish pump, which can increase crew efficiency by 40% to 46% and the time for setting net purse seine, hauling and brailing is faster by 16, 67% to 42.86%. This 180 GT purse seine vessel can operate for 50 days with 27 crews with a fuel tank capacity of 44,525 tons. In the shipbuilding process, it is recommended to use domestic components and material products to increase the speed of the production process and ease the supply of spare parts. Keywords⎯ technical specifications of 180 GT purse seine vessel, small pelagic, fishing line III FMA 572.
Independence and advancement of defense equipment in our country demands the professional and high dedication of TNI soldiers, especially the Navy. A soldier must be able and master, operate, and maintain and can solve any problems arising either due to usage or due to technical errors that occur on defense equipment both in operation and hombase. In practice grenade throwing on the field are often found unexploded grenades after being thrown. At this time the handling of unexploded grenades is detonated on the spot, however the tool used to locate the crushing explosives is still very traditional by using bamboo poles. In this final project there will be a tool for placing crushing explosives on unexploded grenade handling procedures in the field, using a long, folded, robotic arm stick that is driven by a gearbox motor, the mechanism of this tool will be made with the arm system using Electromechanical systems. At the end of the stick is installed gripper which serves to clamp the explosives before being placed on unexploded grenades. Stick Manipulator to be created can assist trainers and instructors in the implementation of explosive placement on unexploded grenade handling procedures on target and can be an additional tool of equipment owned by current trainers and instructors and can be useful for units in need , And held a grenade throwing exercise.
